Real Estate Mobile Technology is maturing at a rapid pace and has seen the iPhone gain in popularity in a big way.

For those of us that are using a corporate email service, like the Prufoxroach.com email system (Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or above) you can wirelessly push email, calendar events, and contacts to iPhone. And with enhanced features like searching your inbox, creating calendar invitations directly from iPhone, and dialing out from calendar events on iPhone, it's easier to stay on top of your game. It took me a couple of minutes to set up my son's itouch to receive my Prufoxroach.com email.

Here are step by step instructions with screen shots to help you easily set up your Prufoxroach.com email (based on Microsoft Exchange) on your iPhone.

Step 1: Click on the settings menu on your screen (see below)

Step 2: Click on Mail, Contacts, Calendars option

Step 3: Click on Add Account

Step 4: Click on Microsoft Exchange. As you can see you can setup other email providers as well.

Step 5: Make sure you enter the appropriate information as indicated on this screen shot below. The only change will be your username (same as myezaccess.com, typically your full name) and your password.

Step 6: Once you have finished with Step 5, you can access your mail from the home page by clicking Mail (as shown in the screen shot on Step 1). Once you click on Mail, you will arrive at the screen below that will display all the email accounts you have setup. Click on your Prufoxroach.com email. The first time you access it right after setup, it will take a few minutes to synchronize your email

Now that you have an iPhone, I cannot end this post without letting you know of the 15 Must Have Apps For Real Estate Agents by Judy Peterson from the Devon Sales Office. A very good starting point to leverage your iPhone for business productivity.

Note to all Blackberry Users (with Enterprise Server access) - unlike the blackberry which offered an option to delete a message on the mailbox and handheld or just the handheld, the iPhone doesn't have the delete on handheld only option. So, if you delete a message on your iphone it is also deleted in your mailbox.

Oh finally on a lighter note, Cube runner is my son's favorite game (screen shot 1) that has you flying a ship across a terrain. It is a free download from the app store and it's FUN!
