32 bit vs 64 bit? Does it matter?
I would go with a reputable brand with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, at least 4GB RAM and Window 7.

Any good values on a new laptop?
The mother board in my Dell Inspiron 8600 recently failed. I'm thinking of just getting a new one, but don't want to buy or pay for a rocketship.
My basic uses are Internet, Microsoft Office suite (brochures/photos, etc.) and the internet based applications that we use here at pru. Would love to just get one with good processing speed, a decent amount of memory that doesn't come loaded with a bunch of applications that I will never use.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

- As much as i like the blackberry and use it (company contract), I would be hard pressed to go against the iPhone. I would recommend it as the mobile community is developing new applications for the iPhone as the standard. Besides, the user interface of the iPhone is clearly superior
