The "Gist" of Building Stronger Relationships

If you are a member of a few social networks like me (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc.) trying to manage all of them and being able to make decisions on when to interact with your network can be challenging. The goal of being on a social network is two fold.Continue

Take aways from Inman Real Estate Connect NY 2010

I got a chance to attend the Real Estate Connect 2010 in NY from Wed (1/13) to Fri (1/15) and wanted to summarize my thoughts here.

I attended 10 intensive sessions on specific topics besides the Main Conference Program that featured many renowned speakers including Craig Newmark, Founder of Craigslist. The other intangible is to meet some of the people IRL (In Real Life) that I have been following on Twitter for some time. I finally met @phxREguy in the Broker Summit and frankly, he should hav… Continue

Virtual RE Bar Camp - A look back

On Monday, January 4th I attended my first full Virtual RE bar camp (#VREBC) organized by Real Estate Tomato (Jim Cronin and company). I was able to only partially attend the first one back in November but I got all of this! A big shout out to the folks at the Tomato for putting together a fantastic event and all the speakers (yes they were 28, but one could only get 7). Wow! Phenomenal and Kick Ass are the words that come to mind in des… Continue

15 Ways to make your marketing mobile (by @jburslem) #vrebc

I attended a good presentation from Joel Burslem of 1000 Watt Consulting (shared below) made at Virtual Real Estate Bar Camp today on 15 Ways to make your marketing mobile. Although the audience today was mostly agents, the iPhone App is a tremendous opportunity for brokers to deliver a home finder experience for their customers and also a custom version for their agents.… Continue

Excellent, thanks. I saw that Seth Godin reviewed Trust Agents(by Chris Brogan). I like Seth's blog and books.

Hi Rajeev,

You had recommended a book about social media in class the other day. What was the title please? Thank you.

Thank you for the welcome. Now, I need help. I need to purchase a new laptop for the office. One that is fast and has good memory. Don't want to spend a lot as I just purchased one at home for a lot of money. Rajeev, I will also need new software. What do you suggest I buy? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Rajeev,
I was a member when you first started the group. I didn't check in a lot so I must have been taken off. Thanks for the welcome back.

Hi Rajeev,
Thanks for the welcome. I was hesitant to sign up because I'm so ignorant when it comes to technology but thanks to PFR I'm getting on track. I love learning and using technology but get intimidated. I really like the Apple products and wish that Trend would allow the connection more easily. I hear there's a program you can add to a Mac so you can use Trend. Is that right?
Best Regards!
Christina
