Any new Windows based laptop you buy will be good for what you need to do. I would just strongly recommend you get the maximum RAM (memory) as it is quite cheap. Usually new laptops take 4GB or even higher.
The rest of the options depend on how much you want to spend. Also, an external USB hard drive is always helpful for backups.
