I read this one and is good article. I am writing a social media strategy for the company and how to train and complement the agent efforts in this area. More in a few weeks...

I just signed on to Facebook. I struggle with the Tec. part of this social networking idea. I am so great talking but as much as I hate it, some of my clients love me to text message them. I am running to jump on this band wagon, But my legs are tired. I already spend hours on line. I must not be doing it effectively. I would be looking forward to having more direction. I see a new Realtor assistant marketing company in my crystal ball of the future? Are Realtor Sales agents out there who have pretend "thems" on Facebook/ My Space, who talk about everything to the the "18 to 44"s with always ending the chat with Buffini line? Then they write quick report for the real agent and he or she knows the profile before the selling in person begins? How am I going to keep up?

You are not giving yourself enough credit! With the skills our agents have, social media is another communication medium that agents have to learn to adopt. If one can send an email, they can work with social media. Its quite simple. One of the keys is to come up with a plan of what one want's to get from it and develop a plan to do just that. Get yourself a smart phone (if you don't already have one) and then you can do most of this from your phone instead of being in front of your computer.
